5. Daniel Bryan Vs. Kane (2014)
Kane's involvement in The Authority was often sporadic and poorly conceived. Luckily, he always had great chemistry with Daniel Bryan. It was good then, that we could suspend the overall silliness surrounding this event and lock in for some superb entertainment. Sensibility was shoved to one side, and in this case, that was a good thing.
If one can overlook Kane expressing visible anguish at being hit with a big sheet of card (or whatever branded wobbly material they place over the top of the announcement table), we can call this a highly efficient display of carnage, that spilled all the way out of the arena and back again.
Daniel Bryan trundling back to the ring in a forklift and rolling Kane slowly off the edge of a pallet seemed at first like an anticlimax. Cue the flying headbutt from the heavens, and a resulting kick-out from Kane, just because more fun could be had. The flaming tables followed shortly after.
Both competitors made sure that this match was an all out crowd-pleaser. Extreme Rules delivered on its name, and the fans got their money's worth.
