Alberto Del Rio vs. The Big Show is a match that's already featured once on this list, but this first meeting was undoubtedly the better of the two. And yet, it took place on SmackDown, rather than on PPV.

Perhaps that’s one of the reasons it’s so highly-regarded. I doubt there were too many expecting them to deliver this kind of performance in such a relatively low-profile setting.

With Del Rio playing the plucky babyface (a somewhat unusual role for him), he continually outsmarted Show in order to make up for the obvious size and power difference. Plus, there were some fairly smart, minor touches, such as Del Rio rolling out of the ring and landing on his feet, thus breaking the referee's 10 count, despite the fact that he was clearly out of it.

The finish was probably the smartest part of all, as Del Rio buried Big Show underneath the announce table to end a match that was far better than it had any business being.
