EVERY WWE Money In The Bank Cash-In Ranked From Worst To Best
18. John Cena - RAW 1000
Cena humorously won the Money in the Bank contract after Big Show repeatedly smashed him in the head with the hanging briefcase, only for it to come off in Cena’s hands as he tried to block.
Ever virtuous, Cena announced that he would be cashing in his opportunity on the 1,000th episode of RAW against longtime rival, CM Punk. In the main event, Cena and Punk had another good match to add to the list. With back and forth action, the crowd were invested in the main event.
Big Show’s repeated interference ended the match in a disqualification. The three men would go on to have a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam 2012 in which Punk retained. Cena was unsuccessful in a one-on-one rematch with The Straight Edge Superstar at Night of Champions, and would be sidelined with an injury shortly thereafter. Cena regained the top title at WrestleMania 29 where he beat The Rock in their second 'Once in a Lifetime' match.
While this cash-in furthered the feud between The World’s Largest Athlete and Cena, it also cheapened the finish of the would-have-been great main event for this special edition of RAW.
