5. The Miz

How He Won It: Miz won the Raw brand Money in the Bank ladder match at the first ever MITB pay-per-view. The supposed A-lister got the better of Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Ted DiBiase Jr, Mark Henry, Evan Bourne for former MITB winner Edge in something of a surprising result.

What He Did With It: Miz was great with the briefcase. Unlikeable at the best of times, seeing him carry around the briefcase with that smug look on his face - while being United States Champion - just made him even easier to loathe. For the three weeks after winning, Miz continually tried to cash in his shot on Sheamus, only to be thwarted by other wrestlers.

Miz then cooled off with the attempted cash-ins and instead surprised WWE Champion Randy Orton on the November 21st, 2010 episode of Raw, after The Viper had retained over Wade Barrett. The two worked a brief match before Miz countered the RKO into a Skull Crushing Finale to bag his first WWE Title.

The reaction of that little girl in the crowd (forever known as 'Miz Girl') was utterly priceless.

Effect On Career: Well, the dude got a WrestleMania main event with John Cena out of it! Miz is no longer considered a true main eventer and probably never will be again, but the Money in the Bank win and resultant storylines certainly upped his stock and improved his perception in the eyes of the fans.
