How He Won It: The Show-Off showed the world he could excel in multi-man ladder matches at the 2012 Money in the Bank pay-per-view, winning the World Heavyweight Title briefcase. Christian, Tyson Kidd, Damien Sandow, Cody Rhodes, Sin Cara and bloody Santino Marella and Tensai made up the rest of the field.

What He Did With It: Ziggler tried to cash-in his title shot a bunch of times but was always prevented from doing so due. He did manage to retain the thing, however, and also managed to escape with it intact after seeing off the challenge of Chris Jericho at SummerSlam and John Cena at TLC.

Ziggler held on to that briefcase until the post-WrestleMania 29 raw, where he cashed it in against Alberto Del Rio.

Effect On Career: The pop for the cash-in was deafening and Ziggler looked like a total superstar. After several false dawns, there was the feeling that this was the real deal for him now. It turned out to be another false dawn.

Ziggler suffered a concussion just as his reign was really getting started, and dropped it to Del Rio, with WWE executing a double turn in the process. He lost the rematch and hasn't really threatened to break into the main event scene since, save for Survivor Series 2014.

What a fantastic moment that cash-in was, though...
