Every WWE Money In The Bank Winner Ranked - From Worst To Best
2. Seth Rollins
How He Won It: The Architect won the Money in the Bank contract in 2014 in a match featuring former MITB winners Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger and Rob Van Dam, as well as Dean Ambrose and Kofi Kingston. It was a breathtaking stunt show, with some real high drama at the end when it came down to the two former Shield brothers.
What He Did With It: In the immediate aftermath of his MITB win, The Authority's main man feuded with Dean Ambrose and then with the Authority's ex-golden boy, Randy Orton. There was not much activity with the MITB briefcase, but it was always present and it always felt like Rollins could cash in at any moment.
There was one failed cash-in, with Rollins not being able to get one over on John Cena thanks to the Lunatic Fringe. After falling to Randy Orton on the WrestleMania 31 undercard, Rollins shocked the world by cashing-in on Roman Reigns as the Big Dog was waging war with Brock Lesnar in the main event.
One well-timed curb stomp later and Seth was the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Effect On Career: The cash-in was tremendous, one of the best ever, and really capped off what had been a surprisingly great show. As for Rollins, he was a made guy after that and, although his WWE Title run was badly booked and ended abruptly due to injury, it was definitely a plus for his career to win MITB and cash it in on the biggest show of the year.
