1. 'Thorn In Your Eye' By WWE Superstars And Slam Jam
Used: 1997 - 2002
It doesn't get more iconic than this. A song that immediately brings all those nostalgic memories from the Attitude Era rushing back to you, it's become synonymous with the greatest time period of professional wrestling because it captured the edginess of the product at the time to perfection.
Accompanying that classic intro title which featured old Stone Cold making his way into a fiery warehouse only to find himself standing before a ring in which Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Sycho Sid and The Undertaker were tearing each other apart, it instantly put all of us on notice as the WWF product was finally ready to grow up. And man oh man, grow up it did.
As great as the short-lived 'Beautiful People' soundtrack was, it's hard to imagine anything capturing the Attitude Era the way that this noisy beauty did.
