Every WWE Raw Opening Theme Song Ranked From Worst To Best

12. 'I Like It Raw' By Jim Johnston

Used: 1995

If you ever find yourself in need of a reminder that the World Wrestling Federation was a strange place in 1995, then look no further than 'I Like It Raw'.

Part of an attempted rebrand around the annual season premiere time of year, it debuted in September 1995 and, well, it didn't last long. It's catchy in a guilty pleasure kind of way but it's also quite flat and the most bizarre thing about this one is the strange and sensual lyrics that never really feel like they belong anywhere near a wrestling program.

It worked better when they dropped the lyrics, altered the sound and heightened the sirens the following week but two months later, 'I Like It Raw' was gone altogether. Hey at least it gave us the sirens and the badass opening package of the New Generation superstars tearing each other apart.
