11. 'Born For Greatness' By Papa Roach
Used: 2018 – 2019
On paper, reuniting WWE and Papa Roach should have led to greatness but the result - Raw's opening theme between 2018 and 2019 - ended up being just okay. 'Born For Greatness' is a solid song and it's easy to see why WWE chose a track with that title for its programming and yet, it never really felt like it was the right fit.
It was different and, for the most part, worked - helped by innovative opening titles and graphics that complemented the beats rather well - but it just couldn't live up to the larger-than-life feel that emanated from many of the previous themes (and, indeed, its predecessor). It also didn't help that they often overlooked it in favor of bumper theme 'Charge Up The Power' and rarely broadcast the opening package during this time.
Of course, WWE have had much greater success when it comes to Papa Roach songs - something that we'll discuss in more detail much, much later on this list.
