One year after being the last overall draft pick in the 2016 brand extension, Carmella made history by becoming the very first female Money in the Bank winner.
She would hold it for almost one year, cashing it in on Charlotte Flair on the post-WrestleMania 34 edition of SmackDown.
'Mella would go on to defend the title multiple times against the likes of Flair and Asuka before dropping it to Charlotte in a Triple Threat Match at SummerSlam that also involved Becky Lynch.
Carmella was never particularly good in the ring, but she was great on the mic. Not a bad champ at all.
