Despite a screwy finish on an overlong show, Becky Lynch’s ascent from the most underrated member of the Four Horsewomen to the winner of the first ever women’s WrestleMania main event was beautiful. Seeing the emotion in her eyes as she raised both of the titles high in the air took away from disappointment over the finish and created hope for the less than ideal two belts situation.

Hopes for what Becky could do with both divisions was high, she could work with underrated talent on both brands, truly establish herself on top as one of the generation's greatest workers. Losing one of the belts could be a seismic result, with intensive character work a possibility as she tries to hold onto her other belt despite a loss of confidence. There was a lot of potential that could be made out of WWE’s last-minute decision.

Unfortunately, she just dropped the belt on the second of two matches at Money in the Bank to Charlotte, then never attempted to win the belt back or let it affect her confidence with the Raw title. It did almost as much damage to her aura as the endless saga with Lacey Evans did, and was a disappointment considering how much potential was there. Still, that initial moment was breathtaking, even if it wasn’t how we all hoped it would be.
