8. Tay Conti

The Brazilian native Tay Conti was signed to the WWE for over three years, being a part of the inaugural Mae Young Classic and even competing on the pre-show of WrestleMania 34 in the Women's Battle Royal.

During her time with the company she routinely competed on NXT, at one time even having an affiliation with The Undisputed Era. She had eye-catching potential, but NXT never ran with her the same way they did other female talent like Toni Storm and Tegan Nox. Conti was one of the exemplary talents let go by WWE in their April 2020 budget cuts due to the pandemic, which stemmed from her being creatively frustrated in NXT and asking for her release two months prior.

As soon as her 90-day no compete clause expired, Conti was snapped up by AEW. Teaming with Anna Jay, she wrestled in AEW Women's Tag Team Cup Tournament ‘The Deadly Draw’ and has since had ferocious matches with Nyla Rose and Serena Deeb (for the NWA Women’s Championship) on Dynamite and showed WWE exactly what they missed out on.

Only at the young age of 25, she’s got a lot to give in AEW.
