Every WWE WrestleMania Rematch Ranked From Worst To Best
4. The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels - WrestleMania XXVI
Following up one of the greatest WrestleMania matches of all time was always going to be a tall order. Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker put on a classic at WrestleMania XXV, a virtually flawless match, where the only botch just served to heighten the drama. Any man could have won this match and the fans would have been satisfied.
So a year later, as with most superstars who end up looking at the lights, the Heartbreak Kid had a chip on his shoulder. Wanting to prove he could defeat the Deadman on the Grandest Stage, he put his career on the line to set up one of the best and most emotionally charged main events in the history of the show.
In terms of in-ring ability, the match lacked slightly compared to the previous year. But in terms on emotional turmoil, it took things to a who new level. Whereas everybody won in terms of the result at 25, there was going to be a lot of unhappy fans depending on the outcome of this one. Will HBK end the Streak, or will the Streak end HBK?
Putting on yet another faultless performance, both Undertaker and Michaels once again gave us the match of the year, and with one final enormous leaping Tombstone, Undertaker ended Shawn Michaels' career, retiring him for good (...if Saudi Arabia doesn't count).
