1. Mickie James

The tease: some old promotional footage of Mickie James was shown in the original teaser trailer, with Scott D'Amore also referencing Nashville - Slammiversary's host city - as a "hardcore country".

The likelihood of it happening: 100%

The return of Mickie James to IMPACT Wrestling is more or less a given at this point. A former Knockouts Champion, James is one of only a few names to have been teased for the pay-per-view outside of the two teaser trailers.

Other than Scott D'Amore's comment of Nashville being a "hardcore country" on this week's IMPACT, there's also the fact that Kiera Hogan found a trash bag labeled 'Mickie' a few weeks back. This was the only physical tease IMPACT have done this year, whereas they produced a ton last year.

If Mickie doesn't show up on 17 July, then props to IMPACT. They've convinced this writer that she's definitely going to be there.

Making this all the more interesting was a Fightful Select report regarding Kylie Rae getting out of her IMPACT contract to debut for the NWA in June. The report also stated that there have been talks of IMPACT and NWA working together more, which could result in Mickie scouting talent from IMPACT to appear at the latter's all-women's Empowerrr pay-per-view.

Or, you know, she could be Deonna Purrazzo's mystery challenger.
