Ex-WWE Star Eva Marie Calls Out Airline For Sexism

"Qantas prefers their women in a dress".

Former WWE star Eva Marie has taken an Australian airline to task on social media for sexism.

Marie posted on Twitter criticising Qantas for refusing to let her enter the business class lounge in her gym gear. The fitness model then clarified her comments by saying the issue wasn't "a dress code issue", and said she supports "a businesses' right to enforce equitable dress code standards".

Eva's problem came when her husband was let into the exact same lounge when he was wearing shorts and a t-shirt. In other words, hubby was in gym gear too, but that didn't seem to be a problem for staff manning the lounge entrance.

The former WWE performer argued that her business is active wear and fitness, so she should be allowed to wear that in the business lounge. Qantas apparently disagreed with those sentiments and she wasn't given access.

It's worth pointing out that some on Twitter have defended the airline for their decision, and others can understand where Qantas were coming from. The airline themselves are yet to comment on the situation or on Eva's posts.
