Ex-WWE Star Responds To Rapid Return Rumours

Squashing one rumour then feeding another...

Former WWE star Karl Anderson definitively replied to a fan prediction on Twitter claiming he and old partner Luke Gallows would shortly return to the company.

The tweet (with an attached story) wasn't up for long before Anderson quoted it and said, "Absolutely f*cking not". He then added, "Quote that - dumb ass!" for good measure.

The fan alleged that Anderson and Gallows were about to re-sign with WWE for less money than they were making before, and that's the part which probably ticked Karl off most. He wasn't in any mood to play games.

Not with WWE rumours anyway.

Impact Wrestling is an entirely different story. Earlier, after WWE had posted some last-minute hype for the final episode of The Undertaker's 'Last Ride', Anderson quoted that tweet and cryptically put, "July 18, 2020". That, for those who don't know, is the date for Impact's upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view.

Other reports doing the rounds speculate that Anderson and Gallows will ink a deal with New Japan Pro Wrestling, then work with Impact in between tours abroad.

Either that or ol' 'Machine Gun' is just firing out more social media ribs.
