More news has filtered in regarding the shocking walkout from Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize during this past weekend's AEW Collision show. Fightful Select reports that "a number of AEW talent and staff reached out about the situation" to tell them that Bryan Danielson even expressed his displeasure with the pair's tag-team match on the 1 November Collision (taped on 29 October).

Meanwhile, Newell has since reached out to Fightful and claims that neither she nor Miranda have ever met with Danielson at all. She told the website that both she and Alize were "respectful" towards AEW throughout. The exact quote she gave was: "All false information. We have never met Bryan in person".

The plot thickens.

A few members of the women's division on AEW and ROH also got in touch with Fightful to tell them that they'd love even 3 minutes of screen time on Collision. Regrettably, Nixon has also claimed via a Twitch live stream that she's been receiving death threats from some "wrestling fans" following the ordeal. That's clearly horrendous, and just should not be happening.

There was a follow-up story about Newell leaving an independent show earlier than planned before doing a run in. However, it's since been clarified as miscommunication between the wrestler and the event's promoter. Fightful has reported that there's currently "no issue" between both parties.

Interestingly enough, Nixon commented on that when talking to the website. She added: "As for the indie show, I have no idea what you’re talking about".

This is all very confusing. Did Danielson speak to Newell and Alize in person backstage at Collision or not? Also, will there be any lingering bad blood between both workers and AEW? More on this story when it breaks.
