Exact Reasons These 10 Wrestlers Have Failed In WWE

8. EC3

Reason: Crappy mini-feud with Dean Ambrose.

EC3 proved in TNA that he could hack it as a top-tier superstar. Sure, that was in a smaller company than WWE, but credentials are credentials, and the heel knocked every promo opportunity out of the park. It was all part of his relentless drive to prove himself after being spurned by WWE once.

Make that spurned by WWE twice.

WWE has done precisely nothing with EC3 on the main roster aside from sticking him in a directionless mini-feud with the outgoing Dean Ambrose before he fled for solace in AEW. This escapade lasted a grand total of around two weeks, didn't help ingratiate EC3 to the WWE audience and was a shameful waste of talent.

When the rivalry fizzled out and Ambrose left, Carter III was left without any role on Raw at all and he's barely been seen since. What was the point of this? Why should EC3 get the blame for a lazy feud against someone who didn't even want to be there?
