Reason: Vince McMahon didn't want those Women's Tag-Team Titles.

Sasha Banks and Bayley reportedly had to knock on Vince McMahon's door every day and badger him into creating the Women's Tag-Team Titles. When he relented, there was an air of optimism from the entire female division and fans who craved more focus outside the core singles belts.

Things got off to a hot start at Elimination Chamber 2019 when Sasha and Bayley won the new titles and made history. Things fell off a cliff after that, and it was the poor IIconics who suffered most. Suddenly, Vince realised that he didn't care a jot about the Women's Tag Titles at all, and that left Billie Kay and Peyton Royce struggling for TV time as champs.

Their WrestleMania 35 win was the only highlight of an abject 120-day reign.

The IIconics weren't viewed with the same importance as Banks and Bayley, and that's why they've gone missing. It's no accident that the tag belts themselves have been passed around a few more times and pushed into the background lately either.
