Exposing The Myth: Tag Team Wrestling Doesn’t Draw Money

1. There Is Still The Demand

The fact that a large portion of pro wrestling fans have spent the past decade or more lambasting WWE for not putting more of a spotlight on its tag team ranks tells you that there is still a demand for tag team wrestling.

Truth be told, that demand has never gone away - it's just been left unanswered for the longest time by the biggest company in the industry.

Not only have wrestling fans continued to demand a renewed focus on tag team action, but many legends of the business have also chimed in to express similar sentiments, with 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin just one of a multitude of icons who have proclaimed tag team wrestling as being the most enjoyable element of pro wrestling when executed well.

Regardless of the time period or of the generation of fans watching, one of the consistent components of the wrestling industry is that you have to know when to give the audience what they want. And for as long as there is a demand for tag team wrestling - which there clearly is! - you would be an absolute idiot to ignore the value that a strong tag team division, and highlighting these tandems as genuine attractions, can bring to your promotion.
