Exposing The Myth: Vince McMahon Buried WCW Talent

2. Booker T's WWE Tenure

Should Booker T have defeated Triple H at WrestleMania XIX for the World Heavyweight Championship? Hell yeah. But that doesn't mean that Booker wasn't allowed to thrive in WWE.

Of all of the former WCW talents who were capable of working a full-time schedule, Booker was the one who thrived the most under the WWE umbrella.

Across his on-off WWE tenure, Book went on to smash the perceived ceiling for former WCW talent, as he went on to claim the World Heavyweight Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, the United States Championship, the Hardcore Championship, the Tag Team Championships, a King of the Ring victory, and even wind up as a two-time WWE Hall of Famer.

Could Lance Storm have achieved the same success as Booker T if given the opportunity? Possibly. Could Chris Kanyon have achieved that success if given the chance? Who knows. The point is, Booker T is the WCW alumnus who most ran with the ball and grasped every single opportunity that came his way.

That WrestleMania XIX match won't ever go away, but it's impossible to say that WWE ever came close to truly burying Booker T.
