With WWE's Shayna Baszler somewhat surprisingly announced for Josh Barnett's Bloodsport X next month, it's now been revealed that the Queen of Spades will be facing off against Masha Slamovich.

Barnett himself took to X during Raw last night to announce Baszler vs. Slamovich for Thursday 4 April in what could well prove to be a genuine highlight of a stacked WrestleMania Week.

For those maybe not too familiar with Masha Slamovich, she's been on an absolute tear for the past couple of years, cracking skulls in the likes of TNA/IMPACT, GCW, Wrestling Revolver, CZW, Beyond, Tokyo Joshi-Pro, and of course Bloodsport.

Last year in particular was a hell of a year for Russian Dynamite, with her defeating Nick Gage to become the GCW World Champion, being a part of IMPACT Rebellion's ten-person Hardcore War, putting on a belter of a match with Jordynne Grace, delivering a brilliant battle with 'Speedball' Mike Bailey, and embarking on a memorable feud with nowadays tag team partner Killer Kelly; a rivalry that's since seen the pair become two-time TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions.

By the time all was said and done with 2023, Masha ended up placing high in both the PWI Women's 250 (#13) and the PWI 500 (#15) - making Slamovich the highest-ranked woman in the history of the PWI 500.
