8. Eddie Kingston's Family
This would mark the first time the AEW Trios Championships would change hands in a Gauntlet Match, with four other teams of three coming to challenge PAC and the former AAA and Impact World Tag Team Champions. Challenging Death Triangle will be Jurassic Express, Team Taz, the Tully Blanchard-led trio of Shawn Spears and FTR, and former champions, Eddie Kingston's Family.
The new champions? Eddie's boys.
Now, it may not be the greatest idea in the world to immediately place the titles back on Eddie and The Butcher, and The Blade, given that they were the ones who dropped the gold to Death Triangle, but it fits the story perfectly.
By this point, the beef between 'The Bastard' and 'The Mad King' will have ended a long time ago, giving some other trios the chance to step up to the plate, ultimately leading to this five-team Gauntlet Match. PAC, Fenix, and Penta will overcome Team Taz, and Tully's guys, before falling to The Jurassic Express, who are eliminated last by the Family.
Not only does it get us back to Eddie Kingston's Family as the AEW Trios Champions, but it also helps establish Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy, and Marko Stunt as a formidable trio, despite them never lifting the titles.
