Shorty G Vs. Mojo Rawley

Pre-match, Kayla Braxton spoke to Shorty G about Mojo having 8-inches and over 60lbs on him. When Mojo mocked him from behind, Shorty used one of his many skills, apparent eyes in the back of his head, to clock Mojo and send him sprawling to the floor. It could almost be interpreted as a shot at Vince's big man obsession.

Though Mojo bounced around the ring, and Gable sold well, the shorter man outclassed his opponent with his sheer technical ability, including a picture-perfect Northern Lights Suplex.

The match concluded with an impressive reversal sequence. Mojo caught Shorty as he attempted a flying crossbody, however, before he could hit a powerslam, Shorty reversed into an inside cradle for the three count. Mojo played up his frustration well - over-acting in professional wrestling doesn't exist.

Mojo in many ways harks back to the wrestlers of the '80s and early '90s. However, in the present day his larger-than-life attitude can rub modern fans up the wrong way. Mojo could easily turn his persona up to a deliberately obnoxious level and he'd have a promising heel gimmick to go forward with.
