Forget Deadpool & Wolverine: 10 Potential WWE Universe Anchor Beings

Switching it up a bit, what if the anchor being of the WWE Universe isn't necessarily a wrestler, but the so-called "Voice of WWE" and main commentator, Michael Cole?

Though he isn't on every program, that's only a matter of scheduling. He's only human and can't be expected to travel that much every week. But if it were possible, clearly, he would be in that position, as he's the lead commentator tasked to spearhead every premium live event, hold down the fort on the flagship Monday Night Raw show, and fill in as the main play-by-play announcer at the drop of a hat.

As far as consistency, he's missed only three shows out of a nearly 30-year career. At this point, an entire generation of fans have no idea what WWE is like without Cole's voice at the helm.

Cole does more than just call the matches. He's the storyteller who connects the audience with the action and conveys what we're supposed to be feeling, not just seeing.

He isn't the head writer technically responsible for crafting the stories in general, but without someone like Cole to provide context, WWE might as well be just a group of men and women doing choreographed dance movements. Would that not be the responsibility of the anchor being to keep the universe flowing?
