Forget Deadpool & Wolverine: 10 Potential WWE Universe Anchor Beings

4. Vince McMahon

While he's not in the company anymore, Vince McMahon will forever be etched into every fabric of WWE's being. He is the reason World Wrestling Entertainment exists, not only because of what he's done—for better or worse—for over 40 years, but because he had inherited it. A McMahon has been at the forefront of this company since it was originally called the Capitol Wrestling Corporation, even.

As influential and popular as names like Bruno Sammartino, The Undertaker, Macho Man Randy Savage and others have been to WWE, there is no singular person more responsible for crafting this world and even dubbing it the WWE Universe than McMahon.

Had he not tarnished his name with scandals, he would still be running operations. Admittedly, it's a good thing he isn't, but therein lies another aspect of this discussion not yet examined.

When an anchor being dies, the universe gets destroyed, even if it takes a thousand years to come around to it. Within just a few months of his departure, aspects of the world he created were already changing. Some of those have died out, possibly forever.

The WWE Universe has quickly shifted after his exit and will continue to evolve as time goes on, just as we can assume the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be reshaped with Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
