During Friday Night SmackDown on FOX, NXT talent Daniel Vidot made his main roster debut losing to Sheamus in a squash match.

The former Australian rugby player penned a deal with the company in 2018 and has some vocal supporters within WWE. However, he hasn't been used frequently on NXT programming and even reportedly spent some time out injured.

Last night on Twitter, after making his SmackDown debut, Vidot posted, “When people tell you it can’t be done, do it. SMACKDOWN debut – 4.24.2020 #blessed #Smackdown #WWE @wwe @WWEonFOX”

With his obvious sporting pedigree, Vidot definitely has the potential to be a success in the company going forward and his appearance on SmackDown may open the door up for more main roster matches or even a consistent spot on NXT.

For now though, Vidot joins a growing list of rising stars who've all fallen victim to the Celtic Warrior Sheamus over the last few weeks.

Will we see Sheamus plough through another upcoming talent on next week's show? Or will the company finally set a reported Jeff Hardy/Sheamus feud up for the future?

We'll surely find out next week on SmackDown.
