Former WWE Star To Stop Wrestling Under A Mask
Having been masked for his entire career, this ex-WWE star has decided to make a major change.
Former WWE star Lince Dorado will soon start competing without his trademark mask. In fact, the luchador will soon start competing without any mask.
Taking to Twitter, the MLW World Middleweight Champion explained how he's been contemplating wrestling maskless for the past five years. Now, he's finally opted to bring an end to his days as a masked competitor.
I've contemplated this for a while now, possibly 5 years now. For almost 2 decades I have been someone I'm not. I have decided! This will be my last year masked. Question is will I lose it or say f**k it, this is the real me? #luchalit pic.twitter.com/54N60b2jp1

Since making his in-ring debut back in 2007, the Golden Lynx has always sported a mask.
Dorado initially cutting his teeth in the likes of Chikara and Dragon Gate USA, before getting thrust into a major spotlight as part of WWE's Cruiserweight Classic in 2016. While he was eliminated in the second round of that tournament - coming up short against Rich Swann - the New Jersey native impressed WWE enough to be signed by the promotion.
During his initial tenure with WWE, Lince competed as a singles act on Raw and 205 Live. In early 2018, Dorado was paired up with Kalisto and Gran Metalik as the Lucha House Party. That trio would stay together until the 2020 Draft, with Kalisto remaining on SmackDown and Dorado and Metalik drafted to Raw. The pair would continue to team together up until both were released in November 2021.
Since departing WWE, as alluded to, Lince Dorado has been a mainstay of Major League Wrestling, and he recently started appearing for NJPW Strong both as a singles act and as a tag tandem with Gran Metalik.
