Goldberg's 10 Best Moments Ever

7. Helping Out Eddie

Eddie Guerrero winning the world title at No Way Out 2004 is one of the greatest WWE moments ever, but it wouldn’t have happened without the help of Goldberg.

Late in the match, Lesnar was about to hit Eddie with the title while the ref was out. Goldberg then snuck into the ring, speared The Beast and walked off with a big smile on his face. The crowd loved it, and their excitement continued to grow with each passing moment as they began to realize that Eddie just may win the match.

While the spear itself didn’t give Latino Heat the win, it kept Brock down long enough to create an opening. The belt then came back into play as Eddie reversed Lesnar's F5 into a tornado DDT, and planted him right into the gold. He followed that up with a frogsplash for the pinfall.

Eddie as a world champ in WWE was something that we thought we’d never see, but it was cathartic to finally witness him sitting on top of the wrestling world. While the moment definitely belongs to him, Goldberg at least can say he was a part of it.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
