Having tapped out John Cena in the icon's retirement match at Saturday Night's Main Event this past weekend, Gunther received huge heat from those WWE fans in attendance in Hershey, Pennsylvania for Raw last night.

The Ring General opened the show by heading out to the ring, where heavy boos rained down on the big Austrian. Gunther let those boos sink in for several minutes, antagonising the crowd as he gloated in their general direction. And when the former two-time World Heavyweight Champion did speak, he bragged about doing what he set out to do, which was making John Cena give up. Not just that, but Gunther hammered the point home that Cena "tapped out like a little b*tch".

Of course, Gunther's comments only further amped up the boos, and he wasn't done yet. After starting to head to the back, the 38-year-old returned to the ring to pose on the turnbuckles, then headed to the ringside area to stand on the commentary desk as he again reiterated how he made John Cena tap out "like a little b*tch" and that he "will forever be the man that made John Cena give up".

The camera then followed Gunther as he made his way backstage, where he exchanged words with Otis and Akira Tozawa, then R-Truth, before running into Raw GM Adam Pearce. Pearce lambasted Gunther for trying to ruin Cena's legacy, calling him an "a**hole" and telling him to leave the building. As the one-time Walter approached his car, he found AJ Styles waiting for him, with the two sharing a heated staredown, culminating in Gunther doing the You Can't See Me hand taunt as he drove away from the venue.

This all comes hot on the heels of Gunther requiring additional security as he exited Washington's Capital One Arena on Saturday.
