Tony Khan was the special guest on Renee Paquette's Oral Sessions podcast earlier this week, touching on all manner of topics relating to his role as All Elite Wrestling president - including the ongoing televised feud between his promotion and Impact Wrestling.

The conversation revealed Kenny Omega as the source of the idea. Khan said the following on how it came to be:-

"He asked me about it and I love good ideas. This was something Kenny brought up that I thought was a great idea. I give 100% of the credit to Kenny."

'Big Bicep Tony' also revealed that the "paid ads" he has been running on Impact television with Tony Schiavone were his own creation, and designed to promote Dynamite while also putting AEW vs. Impact over. These segments typically see Khan and Schiavone gleefully burying Impact on the promotion's own television time.

Khan was heavily involved in the latest developments in the Impact. Alongside Jerry Lynn, he appeared live and in the flesh on last night's show, taking a ringside seat as the Matt Hardy-managed Private Party wrestled Chris Sabin and James Storm. Private Party's win means they'll now challenge for the Good Brothers' Impact Tag Team Titles.
