Back to Saudi we go!

As the intro suggests, there was a time period when seeing The Undertaker vs. Goldberg on paper would've caused maximum excitement. That WWF vs. WCW clash would've worked at any point between 1998-maybe 2015, but the sad truth is 'Taker wasn't the 'Deadman' of old by 2019.

This writer will always maintain that the first few minutes of their collision at Super ShowDown looks promising. It was a WWE 2K fantasy battle, but then everything fell apart. Both veterans were spent mere moments in, and that led to some shockingly dangerous spots that could've realistically resulted in serious injury or worse.

It was a frankly terrible decision to give these guys even 10 minutes and the pressure of a main event spot. They needed five mins at most, and should've been squeezed onto the midcard someplace. That's easy to say in hindsight, to be fair, but it wasn't fun to watch two icons of the 90s almost maim one another during a knackered botchfest.

WWE clearly hadn't been paying attention to some of 'Taker's wonky performances beforehand.
