Fightful Select reports that top AEW star MJF "has caught the acting bug" and greatly enjoyed filming scenes for Violent Night 2 recently. Before that, Friedman had appeared in both The Iron Claw and Happy Gilmore 2. Now, the website says "he's expected to continue acting while balancing his wrestling schedule".

What does that mean for his pro wrestling career though?

On that front, MJF is likely to return to All Elite programming "soon", but there's no specific date announced for his comeback. However, Fightful predicts that he "is at least factored in to AEW’s plans by December". Several fans in the comments and on social media started getting excited about the thought of Max showing up in time for Full Gear 2025 on 22 November.

That's unclear at time of writing - Fightful stressed that they haven't been told a locked in date.

MJF is scheduled to appear at the WrestleCade fan festival in a few weeks, so maybe that will coincide with his return to wrestling. Friedman hasn't wrestled since losing a 'Tables N' Tacks' match to Mark Briscoe at All Out on 20 September. Before that, his last AEW match had been another loss to Hangman Page at Forbidden Door on 24 August.

This means that Max's last win in front of the All Elite cameras came by way of a victory over Briscoe on the 6 August episode of Dynamite. It's been a while then, but maybe it won't be too long until he's having his hand raised by refs again.

More on this when it becomes available.
