Hulk Hogan: 5 Best And 5 Worst WCW Moments

While in WCW, the Hulkster famously formed the nWo. But that wasn't all he did...

Hulk Hogan Nwo BeltWWE.comHulk Hogan is easily the most recognizable wrestling star in the world. With the advent of Hulkamania and the Rock N€™ Wrestling movement of the mid-1980€™s, the Hulkster took the universe by storm. With Vince McMahon and his World Wrestling Federation machine behind the Immortal One, it€™s no surprise that Hulk became the star he did. However, things began to sour in the early 90€™s, as Hulk was still a household name, but no longer a fresh commodity. He slowly downsized his wrestling role within the WWF and began to focus more on his movie and television career. Eventually, the Hulkster parted ways with McMahon€™s Titan Sports Inc. and left the wrestling world. Despite rumblings that this would be a full-blown retirement for Hogan, that would not be the case. After only a year spent mostly away from sports-entertainment, Hulk signed a new deal that would see him return to action inside the squared circle. Somewhat shockingly, however, it was not to be for the World Wrestling Federation. Instead, Ted Turner and his World Championship Wrestling organization had signed the biggest wrestling star in the world. It was quite a coup for WCW, as they attempted to capitalize on the Hulkster€™s worldwide recognition in the hopes of growing their brand. It was a bold move, and one that would initially work, but slowly lose its luster as the years stretched on. There€™s no doubt, though, Hogan had just as many memorable -- and even infamous -- moments in WCW as he did in the WWF. tumblrtumblrJoin us as we take a look back at the best and worst moments of Hulk Hogan€™s WCW run €
