Hulk Hogan's 10 Worst Acting Performances

6. Suburban Commando

Suburban Commando In Suburban Commando, Hogan, looking like he suited up to play Laser Tag, plays Buck Rogers wannabe Shep Ramsey, a hero from outer space whose ship is damaged early on in the film in order to allow a fish out of water comedy/action flick to unfold before the eyes of us lucky earthen film-goers - and who, for some unimaginable reason, has a human name despite coming from another galaxy. Whatever. Once on earth, our hero loses his laser tag super suit outfit, and encounters strange earthly objects like skateboards and car alarms, which he seems ill-equipped to deal with, despite, you know, being able to fly a freaking space ship! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwwXrgvzIc4 All snark aside, this is another one of those "soft spot" films only because we actually watched it as a kid. Oh, and because of the skateboard scene, which featured heavily in the movie's promotion (it still does get a chuckle out of us), and the appearance of Christopher Lloyd. For those reasons, this flick gets a pass. It also has David Faustino's (yes, Bud Bundy) little brother, Michael, for those of you who want a bit of trivia. Hogan's not great in this, but to an extent, he pulls off the fish out of water act. Which is probably what led producers to think he could pull off Mr. Nanny (which we've already covered).
