However, all the other reigns combined don't even come close to 'The Hulkster's first two reigns as WWE Champion.

One year after helping 'Macho Man' Randy Savage win the WWE Championship in the main-event of WrestleMania IV, 'The Hulkster' and Savage - collectively known as The Mega Powers - disbanded in early 1989 over Miss Elizabeth.

'Macho Man' turned heel and the stage was now set - the biggest sports-entertainer against the best technical wrestler of their era clashing in the main-event of WrestleMania V. Hulk Hogan would, obviously, go on to beat Savage and reclaim the belt on 'The Grandest Stage Of Them All'.

After ending his feud with Randy later that year - and Zeus(!) - Hogan won the Royal Rumble in January 1990, before being challenged for the main-event of WrestleMania VI. But it wasn't just any challenge...

...it was "The Ultimate Challenge".

In a match for the ages, Hogan dropped his World Heavyweight Championship to The Ultimate Warrior (whose Intercontinental Championship was also on the line) in front of a divided crowd in Toronto. The defeated Hogan passed the torch to The Warrior after the match, personally handing him the WWE Title belt.

However, as legendary as his second title reign was, only one could be in the first place of our list...
