If WWE Superstars Were Football Teams...

12. Cesaro - Sevilla

It's no secret how talented The Swiss Superman is, yet we're still itching to see him showcase his unique skills at the very top of the card. There have been many occasions when it seems like it is just around the corner, only for our hopes to end in disappointment (generally through no fault of Cesaro's).

The majority of Cesaro's 'success' has came with WWE's secondary titles, and in that regard the King of Swing resembles similar European heavyweights Sevilla.

The Andalusians have made the Europa League their own in the past decade, but seem consistently unable to translate their mid-card triumphs to the Champions League.

Would further Europa League glory indicate to the Sevilla Section that bigger things are on the horizon? Does yet another Intercontinental title run signal the beginning of something big for Cesaro? In both cases, sadly...probably not.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
