If WWE Was Being Honest About RETRIBUTION
Those names were revealed during RETRIBUTION's in-ring debut versus the Hurt Business this week.
It was a mid as hell match that conveyed the power of the group just once. T-Bar's thing that he did, where he slowly raised his fist and then smashed it across Cedric Alexander's back, that was good. That was pretty cool. What wasn't pretty cool was the f*cking finish: T-Bar poked Lashley in the eyes when he wasn't the legal man, and his team was disqualified. Bill Watts had apparently seen enough, but the problem is that Bill Watts isn't in charge of this sh*t. Adam Pearce is, it looks like. This sort of thing only ever results in a disqualification when it's convenient to screw you out of a match.
And if the most minor of infractions is deemed punishable, as it was here, why sign these insurgents to contracts? Why did these insurgents sign contracts when they, on the very same show, buried the "so-called Superstars" for seeking fame and fortune?
The state of RETRIBUTION Twitter is appalling, too, don't let the new main event heel group babyface themselves, Jesus. They are clearly gotten-to, as you would be, in fairness, and have attempted to be both deflective and defensive. T-Bar is doing Bane bits to take the heat off himself, but he's also @ing beloved iconoclast CM Punk. He lashed out at the former New Nexus leader for taking the piss out of Slapjack's paper plate mask.
