Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen
1. Willie Mack Costs Rich Swann
Having Rich Swann take the World Championship away from Eric Young would be the perfect culmination to not only the pair's story arc over the past few months, but Swann's 2020 in general.
But it shouldn't happen.
'The World Class Maniac' has been one of the most compelling World Champions in Impact history, and his title reign is something that the no crowd era was lacking in a tad - a sadistic champion. He only captured the title at the start of last month, so it would be a shame for it to end so soon, even though the story may call for it.
There's an easy option to avoid Young straight up retaining the title, however, and that's by having Willie Mack, Swann's longtime ally, cost him the title, turning heel in the process, furious at having failed in his own quests time after time.
While he may have been an X Division Champion earlier this year, 'Chocolate Thunder's' Impact career has been overshadowed ever so slightly, simply because he was always standing in Rich Swann's shadow. By having him cost Rich the strap, it creates a whole new story for both men to embark on, while also continuing the phenomenal reign of Eric Young.
