IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory 2021: 10 Things That Must Happen

2. The World Title Celebration Isn't Overshadowed

Jay White Good Brothers
IMPACT Wrestling

Let's preface this by saying that Jay White confronting the Elite at the culmination of Slammiversary was, in itself, a transcendent moment that shouldn't have been possible in IMPACT Wrestling given they almost went bust a few years ago.

Why did it happen, though? White came to IMPACT to further his feud with David Finlay, hence why he and Juice Robinson ran out as Slammiversary went off-air. By confronting Kenny Omega and co., 'Switchblade' was detracting from the banger he'd just put on with Sami Callihan without a legitimate reason.

White and Omega would never interact in IMPACT again following this.

This can't be the case for Bound For Glory. Josh Alexander can't have his marquee moment stolen by a debut or a run-in or anything of that ilk. Confetti is the only thing that should be appearing following his win, perhaps with Cage strapping the title around his waist, too.

IMPACT has gone this route with their other 2021 pay-per-views, with Hard To Kill and Rebellion both saving their surprises for throughout the show, meaning they could end with a straightforward celebration. This worked particularly excellently for Rebellion, with Kenny Omega standing tall as the AEW and IMPACT World Champion.

Give Josh the same treatment.
