IMPACT Wrestling Rebellion 2021: 8 Things That Must Happen

Eric Young isn't going to be wrestling at Rebellion. That's just the truth of it, sadly. The guy suffered a legitimate torn ACL at the last set of television tapings, putting him on the shelf for between six to nine months.

That IMPACT have confirmed 'The World Class Maniac' will be teaming with Violent By Design pals Joe Doering, Deaner, and Rhino at the pay-per-view is intriguing. They must have a plan in mind to resolve the situation. It could be a handicap bout for the rest of VBD vs. Eddie Edwards, Willie Mack, James Storm, and Chris Sabin, or one of that team could sit out and make it a six-man tag bout.

Or, the most logical plan, Eric Young's replacement could be unveiled before the bell.

There are plenty of plausible names who would fit the Violent By Design nature; ideally, this replacement wouldn't be a one-off, but rather a full-time member of the Eric Young-helmed faction. Erick Redbeard (fka Erick Rowan) stands above them all, though.

The former SmackDown Tag Team Champion is yet to sign with anywhere following his WWE release last April. He's made a sole appearance for All Elite Wrestling on the Mr. Brodie Lee memorial episode of Dynamite, alongside a bout vs. Matthew Justice over WrestleMania weekend.

A full-time run in IMPACT under Eric Young's control sounds perfect for the guy.
