The Good Brothers are scheduled to return to New Japan Pro Wrestling for the first time in over five years.

As announced by the promotion, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson will compete in their upcoming Tag Team Turbulence tournament that will be broadcast on their USA-based show, STRONG. Their first round contest sees the former IMPACT World Tag Team Champions take on Clark Connors and TJP on 16 July, just one day before IMPACT's Slammiversary pay-per-view.

The duo are also being advertised for the 14 August event in Los Angeles titled Resurgence, which will mark the return of American fans to New Japan shows.

First coming together as part of Bullet Club in the 2013 World Tag League - which they ultimately won - Gallows and Anderson were once a top fixture in New Japan's doubles division. They amassed a total of three reigns as IWGP Tag Team Champions, the first of which came less than two months after they first teamed together.

Their final New Japan match came in February 2016 before they departed for a dismal WWE run. These days found in IMPACT Wrestling, the opening of the Forbidden Door has allowed the tandem to reunite with Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks in IMPACT's partner promotion, All Elite Wrestling.
