A bad shoulder? That’ll stop you from being able to lifting an opponent in a safe manner? Well, you’re still gonna hit that Jackhammer, dammit!

In an interesting nugget, Fightful Select reports that Goldberg didn’t actually want to hit ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt with his patented Jackhammer during the pair’s match at last year’s WWE Super ShowDown.

Da Man had a bum shoulder at that point in time, so he and Wyatt had agreed that Goldberg would hit a Spear to get the victory. Upon hearing this, though, Vince McMahon was adamant that the WCW icon would nail Bray with a Jackhammer on his way to getting the 1-2-3 and becoming the new Universal Champion.

Elsewhere, Goldberg recently told FOX Sports that the one Jackhammer he’d take back is the one which he hit on the Undertaker at the 2019 Super ShowDown event. Famously, Bill came extremely close to ending the career of the Phenom after botching his signature move.

Up next for Goldberg is a shot at Drew McIntyre’s WWE Championship at this Sunday’s Royal Rumble PPV - and here's hoping it's a safe and secure outing for the oft-erratic Bill.
