Interesting Note On Paul Heyman Turning Down WWE's Hall Of Fame

Paul Heyman isn't shy about saying no to WWE. Even when they want to honour him!

Paul Heyman says he has turned down WWE's Hall Of Fame several times in the past. The legendary manager is finally set to go in this year shortly before WrestleMania 40, but told The New York Post the company has been trying for years.

Ex-ECW boss Heyman said no multiple times for one simple reason: "I don’t want a lifetime achievement award when I’m not done achieving things". Paul still thinks he has a lot left to do in the pro wrestling industry, and apparently views WWE's HOF treatment as a sign someone is either being put out to pasture or has retired.

Heyman doesn't plan on retiring any time soon.

He will head up WWE's 2024 class though, and most fans would agree that Paul E is a stellar choice as leading man for this year's Hall Of Fame ceremony. Triple H helped announce the news, and put Heyman over as one of the most brilliant minds this biz has ever seen.

Paul joked that he wants to be "involved in the first main event of WrestleMania in Havana, or on the moon, or on Mars when Elon Musk colonises it".

We think he was joking, at least!
