There's a reason why Roman Reigns wasn't wearing red alongside his Bloodline brethren at Survivor Series: WarGames.

WWE seamster Sarath Ton (also known as Mikaze) told the 'Notsam Wrestling Show' that Roman was originally supposed to match colours with The Usos, Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa on the pay-per-view. Ton had made some red ring attire for Roman, but he tried it on earlier that day and found "the fabric texture wasn’t what he thought it was going to be".

So, Reigns decided against wearing the piece at Survivor Series and instead went with his usual black gear for the match vs. Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Butch, Ridge Holland and Kevin Owens. WWE higher-ups didn't intervene, because they wanted Roman to be as comfortable as possible heading into one of the biggest bouts of the year.

Sarath shared another interesting tidbit about Sami's attire for the show too: Zayn's gear was patterned to look closer to Roman's than either Solo's or The Usos'. That was a deliberate choice, because Sami's character is trying to impress Reigns and burrow further into the midst of his family.
