It's Official: WWE Has Never Been Worse

Bianca Belair Charlotte Flair

All four matches were shorter than yet another Seth Rollins Vs. Kevin Owens match on RAW that didn't even have a proper finish. It took Charlotte Flair three weeks prior to that 20 minutes to just give up and get herself disqualified against Bianca Belair. It's like Vince is booking Ring of Honor during its various eras of shark-jumping indulgence, booking long matches for the sheer sake of it, and the man doesn't even consider himself a wrestling promoter. He's delirious all right, but he by his own admission is not a "booker". A "booker" is wrasslin' stuff!

Then what the f*ck is a 25 minute wrestling match?

Vince is doing this - this being ultimately worthless quote-unquote Good Wrestling - because it's easier to do that than book a show. This is a particular disgrace since RAW and SmackDown are automatically bad. It's not hard to book RAW. A bot can do it, it's that formulaic. All he has to do is programme two or more performers together, instruct a hack to write some reason why they might want to fight, scribble a red pen through the hack's work, book the match, book no finish to the match, and then book the match again. He can't even do this multiple times per show in November 2021, leading to 22 minute four-man tags.

WWE is an inconvenience to itself. Other than keep Roman Reigns strong, they never seem to want to do anything.

The issue is pronounced during the Survivor Series build, as it often is.
