Jake Crist Officially Departs Impact Wrestling
Former X Division Champion Jake Crist leaves Impact after three years.
Per a post made on his personal Twitter profile, Jake Crist has officially parted ways with Impact Wrestling.
Having debuted with the company in the summer of 2017, the majority of Jake's Impact career was spent as part of oVe alongside Sami Callihan, Madman Fulton, and brother Dave Crist. Typically found teaming alongside Dave in tantalising tag team contests opposite LAX and The Lucha Bros, Jake enjoyed two title runs during his time with the Nashville-based promotion - one with the World Tag Team Championships, and one with the X Division Championship, both of which saw him enter two separate Bound For Glory pay-per-views as a champion.
Jake hadn't been seen in Impact since the axed Cancel Culture storyline in which he turned on Dave, rechristened himself Jacob Crist, and aligned himself with Rob Van Dam, Katie Forbes, and Joey Ryan (going by Joseph P. Ryan for storyline reasons). Once Ryan's Impact contract was terminated in the midst of the #SpeakingOut movement, Crist vanished from television, last seen on the 9 June edition of Impact in a winning effort against Crazzy Steve.
Now officially a free agent, we wait to see where Jake Crist lands next.
