The feud between Jerry and Bret 'The Hitman' Hart was set to culminate at Survivor Series 1993 with Bret teaming up three of his brothers against Lawler and his three 'Knights'. However, the match was scraped as The King became embroiled in serious allegations about a 15-year-old girl. The young girl accused Jerry of raping and sodomizing her. Lawler was indicted for the incident before the girl admitted she made the whole thing up. Due to the accusations, Lawler was forced to take time off from WWE before returning once all the charges were dropped.
