3. John Cena Vs John Laurinaitis, No DQ Match - (Over The Limit 2012)
Can you believe that WWE booked this as a 17 minute closing main event of a pay per view? Needless to say it was horrible. Johnny Ace had history as a wrestler, but he had no business being in there with Cena. This was the kind of "angle" that should have been taking place on Raw, not main eventing as a match on a ppv. There was little Cena could do to save this contest from being horrible, it was a tedious and long match in which Cena mostly dominated. Nobody cared. The finish came when Big Show came to the ring and knocked Cena out. Johnny Ace won. The bout did get some plaudits though - it won "worst worked match of 2012" in the Wrestling Observer's annual end of year awards. A night for Cena to forget.
