Kane: 5 Awesome Matches And 5 That Sucked

1. Kane vs The Undertaker - WrestleMania XIV

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksXvZwAHt4Q As the culmination of nearly a year of build-up, the first in-ring meeting between Kane and the Undertaker had a lot to live up to. Having been introduced at Bad Blood 1997, Kane was revealed to have been the younger brother of the Undertaker. Their dark past was steeped in soap opera lore, a macabre blend of movie monsters and Shakespearean tragedy. The Undertaker's former manager, Paul Bearer, lead the WWE Universe to its most startling revelation when he gave the dead man the shocking news. "Kane is alive, Undertaker! Your brother Kane is coming!" For the year following Kane's debut, he tried to push Undertaker into fighting him, but it was harder than it looked. The Undertaker made it clear that he would not face his flesh and blood, and refused to fight. But after Kane set the Undertaker on fire inside of a casket and even cost him the WWE Championship, there was no more room to play. It was on for WrestleMania XIV. The two of them brought a sense of scale to the event. Just for some perspective, the main event of that show was Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship. It didn't get much bigger than that. But Kane and the Undertaker put on an outstanding match, and it truly lived up to the monster vs monster aspect it carried. These two men were titans and Kane was put over strong, despite losing. It took three tombstone piledrivers to finally put an end to the match. It solidified Kane, and is one of the best WrestleMania matches ever.
